Downtown Construction Updates
Construction projects continue in and around the Downtown Library! Learn more and plan ahead for a smooth visit.
Construction projects are wrapping up, so there will not be active construction work happening inside the Downtown Library until early spring 2025.
Thank you for your patience as we worked to make part of our building ADA-compliant and completed some much-needed maintenance.
We will begin a new phase of reinvesting in the Downtown Library in early spring 2025, so check back for updates.
There’s a lot happening around the Downtown Library, including the Capitol Blvd. Improvement Project led by CCDC.

With the high volume of road work around the Downtown Library, we encourage everyone to allow extra time for travel to and from the library.
Due to the Capitol Blvd. Improvement Project, the entrance to the library from Capitol Blvd. is closed. Library users can access the parking lot from River Street. You can also reach the library by using the greenbelt, taking the bus (there’s a stop right across Capitol Blvd.), or walking to our location.
