Reserving a Meeting Space

In order to reserve a meeting space, groups must comply with the following guidelines:

  • All meetings must be open to the public. Meetings may not be restricted to any particular group or individuals.
  •
  • Admission must not be charged for any activity held in a meeting room. Users are prohibited from soliciting or accepting dues, fees, or contributions.
  • Commercial transactions are prohibited. No products, services, or memberships may be advertised, solicited, or sold.
  •
  • Rooms are available only during the days and hours the library is open. Your meeting may not disturb library business (i.e. excessive noise, crowds over the posted seating capacity of the room). All meetings must end when the building closes.
  •
  • There are limitations on the number of times per calendar month that a space may be reserved.  Ask for further information regarding such use.  No group may use the Library as a mailing address.
City of Boise agencies and Boise-City recognized Neighborhood Associations are exempt from applicable reservation fees.  Please refer to our Meeting Room Policy in the policy manual (section VIII) for more details or call Adult Services at 208-384-4076; the Library! at Cole & Ustick at 208-570-6900; the Library! at Collister at 208-562-4995; or the Library! at Hillcrest at 208-562-4996.
